Doug Kern has been diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. He had no “typical” cancer symptoms and in fact, if it wasn’t for the Kern Family’s amazing family doctor “just being careful”, a plastic surgeon “just being careful” and an orthopedic surgeon “just being sure”, they would have had no idea. Doug will start chemo on January 3rd that is 2 times a month for 6 months. This is a RARE cancer but a CURABLE cancer. They are working with the fabulous doctors at Fox Chase to take care of him.

Thank you for the gift cards you brought to our home a few weeks ago. Chris is now out of the hospital and feeling much better. The gift cards will help when we have to travel to Boston In July. Christopher requires 24/7 care and I no longer work to serve his needs and that of his brother Matthew. It is a job I never want to give up. Thank you for your service in memory of Krysta. As the grandmother of a 12 year grandson being treated for a brain tumor at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, I want to thank “Krysta Cares” for the Giant Gas cards. While I live just south of Philadelphia, Jackson lives 300 miles from CHOP – in Chesapeake, VA. Our whole family works together transporting him for his weekly treatments, enabling him to attend school most days and his parents to keep working to support the family. While many weeks of treatment were provided at The Children’s Hospital of the Kings Daughters in Norfolk, VA ,for the past several months his treatment of choice is not offered there- necessitating a 600 mile round trip. We ALL sincerely appreciate the financial support . Every bit makes a huge difference in our efforts to restore Jackson’s vision and health. Thank you.
