A New Bike for Malakai
The Krysta Hankee Memorial Fund recently had the pleasure to celebrate our partnership with Lehigh Valley Educators Credit Union members and administrators by donating an adaptive tryke and helmet to Malikai. Since his Brachial Plexius injury, received at birth, he’s needed surgeries and physical therapy to develop strength and the range of motion of his arm. His therapists at Cindy Miles and Associates worked with him on his new specialized hand tryke . This will improve these skills while having fun! He was so excited to ride his tryke and was so happy he could take it home to ride. A big thank you to a caring Lehigh Valley community!

Celebrating One Million MIles
On Thursday July 6, a cake was served to the 52 golfers and volunteers
at Whitetail Golf Club. Sharing the cake was in celebration of the
Million Miles of travel given to families in need of critical services
in the Lehigh Valley and beyond. The golfing segment of this event
was a partnership with Brad Paukovits, Head Pro at Whitetail, and
Lehigh Valley Chapter Steelforce/AMBUCS. Money raised from this event
will by used to purchase an adaptive tricycle for a child in need of
mobility support.
Our next event is scheduled for Thursday, July 20 at Berkleigh. $35
greens fee with cart and includes a luncheon. Tee times from

Happiness is a New Bike!
What is happiness? Having Jonathan ride his new bike donated by the Krysta Hankee Memorial Fund! He didn’t want to stop riding!
We couldn’t have done it without our “Course that Care” Whitetail Golf Club, Golf Pro Brad Paukovits and all the golfers who came out last July for our golf event . We raised enough to purchase this adaptive bike for Jonathan. Also special thanks to Lehigh Valley Steelforce Chapter of AMBUCS and Cindy Miles & Associates who coordinates the adaptive tryke with a client with special needs. Working together gets results!!
