Miles that Matter at the Lehigh Valley Educators Credit Union
During the month of June, the Lehigh Valley Educators Credit Union received donations to post pink cars and “Pave the the Way” to help local families! The Krysta Hankee Memorial Fund used the donations to purchase gas cards and donated them to the Lehigh Valley Pediatric Cancer Foundation who will identify local families needing help with medical transportation. The donations collected from members were matched by Credit Union. The Krysta Hankee Memorial Fund put in the few remaining dollars needed to reach a grand total of $1,000.00
Thanks to LVECU’s Marketing & Business Development Director, Kristen Koehler and her staff, Credit Union members and friends, for supporting us and working together to help provide the Lehigh Valley Pediatric Cancer Foundation with gas cards for families with medical transportation needs. Your generosity will provide over 7,000 miles of driving!
“Kids that Care- Miles that Matter”
The Patricia Bostick Dance Center presented the Krysta Hankee Memorial Fund with money raised and handmade cards created by the dance students during their Pajama Dance fundraiser. The money raised was more than matched by the Fund and $1000 in gas cards was given to the Pediatric Cancer Foundation of the Lehigh Valley, Inc. for families traveling for treatment. Coordinated by Trish Dilg of Paper Bag Child, this shows what a little from so many can accomplish. Thank you to all the dancers who participated and for businesses like Patricia Bostick Dance Studio who continue to give back. Special thanks to Patricia for helping her young dancers not only develop their art of dance but also learn important life lessons through this community service event.
Krysta’s Floragraph
Krysta’s Floragraph completed. What a great job done by the volunteers including my cousin Sherri. Look at all the busy volunteers working on other floragraphs. So much effort & love to make a memorable likeness of the donor being honored. Thanks to all! Can’t wait to see it!
